Product looks good and takes blood pressure readings well. Each time you use it it stores the readings in Memory which stores up to 60 sets of measurement values. Great if only one person is using it, but not good if , say a husband and wife want to both take their readings. there is no way to track the history by individual.

I really like the product but I’m having a problem with the software program on my laptop. When I try to see the graph screen I receive the following error message “The procdedure entry point ?GetDIMSValue@@QAEHXZ could not be located in the dynamic link library dlbtutil.dll”. I called customer support and they offered no solution. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and get the same message. They suggest I call Microsoft but as everyone knows they will only provide help for money. This software works on my desktop. It gives acceptable accuratre reading. I would buy the product again.

In this review of ambulatory blood pressure monitor, I’m going to show you both the good and the bad. After all, what’s a review without some honesty, right? First, I have to tell you upfront that ambulatory blood pressure monitor is my favorite choice. Sure, there’s other products in the same class, but frankly, none of them as good (in terms of quality). I do have to say this though. some other products may be better, but based on quality and price, ambulatory blood pressure monitor is the clear winner.

Very accurate and consistent if used properly. As long as your wrist is between your heart and head level and the wrist strap is not too tight around the wrist to start with (the problem most people have). My results have always been well within 5 pts after multiple readings in 1 hours time. The numbers correlate well with my doctor’s readings (I took it into the office and the Dr was impressed). I’ve owned it for over 5 years and it’s still working great!

I purchased an Omron Blood Pressure Meter w/ Printer. When I ordered
extra paper, which I havent used as of yet, I expected to receive the same
size paper Roll that was in my printer. Instead, I received 5 Tiny Little
rolls, which contain about less than a quarter of the original roll on my
printer. I was not satisfied with the tiny rolls, which will lead to many
more changes of paper, and a needless inconvenience. The replacement
Rolls should be the same size as in the original printer in my opinion.
I still dont know at this time if the Replacement Rolls will fit on the
spindle in my Printer?? In any case, I was disappointed!

Welch Allyn is a quality brand, well known among physicians. This device is more expensive than the drug store brand, but it’s accurate and very easy to use. I wish more of my patients had, and regularly used, something similar. A patient using this device, and taking four or five measurements over a week will probably produce an average blood pressure measurement, statistically, that will be very useful to a physician. Taking a blood pressure at home will avoid “white coat hypertension”, a temporary elevation of blood pressure within a doctor’s office. This device has been sturdy, and accurate, for me, over several years.

This is a great monitor. Easy readout, accuracy, with the option of taking averaged readings.
The included PC program, however, has a problem that I don’t see mentioned in any of the reviews. The program disc that comes with the monitor will not work with Windows Vista. I called the company and they sent by email an updated version. This still would not work with my Vista based system. When I told the technician the specifics of the problem, he said others had experienced the same thing and there isn’t any solution. So while I was looking forward to taking printed results to my doctor, I am now disappointed that I will have to wait for Microlife to come up with a solution.

I purchased the BP Monitor 6/12 and it arrived 6/18, shipping is fast and ordering is great. I tested the BP Monitor out as soon as i got home from my medical school, it works perfectly and there are no glitches the reading is acurate and setting the time, day and date with year and alarm is easy. the numbers are large enough to read without glkasses.
i am impressed with this unit so now i don’t have to go to the drugstore to get a BP reading when i have to go to pick up allergy medicine, ect.
the cuff is large for arms 14.2 to 17.7, medium is for arms 9.2 to 14.2.
i normally would get a medium, but the large cuff fits good even if it overlaps a little. I might have to get the Medium cuff.
if i could i wood rate this a 10 pkus 100% approved by a med student
